Job Purpose Statement

To drive company staff to their destinations safely and efficiently and ensure proper maintenance of the car.

Key Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities)

→ Quality of maintenance services.

→ Adequacy of personal and staff competence to effectively perform unit's activities/tasks.

→ Updates the log book of vehicle use on daily basis for proper recording of mileage.

→ Transportation services for NCBA staff and other personnel as may be required.

→ Checks safety of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness on daily basis.

→ Reports periodic servicing needs of the vehicle in advance to ensure its proper handling.

→ Ensures that the vehicle is clean all the time.

→ Ensures safe keeping of vehicle accessories e.g., Jack, first aid kit, etc.

→ Ensure that all immediate actions required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvementin an accident.

→ Performs other job-related duties as required.

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Secondary School Certificate
  • Valid driving license.
  • At least five (5) years’ work experience as a driver, with a safe driving record.
  • Good geographical knowledge of Rwanda, and Musanze district area in particular.
