Internship Description
A registered INGO, CC-JOBS was founded in Rwanda to support Community and Educational Development. Gitega Sector of Nyarugenge District in Kigali, Rwanda (Central East-Africa) is the area we are concentrating on.
To support the execution of our Youth Development Sponsorship Program (YDSP), we provide engaging internship, research, and volunteer programs for international students with varied study backgrounds and multiple study years.
The organization's mission is as follows:
A thriving neighborhood where young people have access to the resources they need to become independent and significant players in the growth of their neighborhood.
We are looking for students who can update, maintain, and administer our social media platforms (Linkedin, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, and Instagram) and website for studies connected to international communication, multimedia design, and creative business. from publishing regularly on a daily or weekly basis to making EG canvas posters for the various channels listed. A different task can involve creating a documentary or creating quick movies for advertising and marketing.

Education level: Upper secondary education, Post-secondary non-tertiary education, Short-cycle tertiary education, Bachelor’s or equivalent level, Master’s or equivalent level, Doctoral or equivalent level
Location: Kigali , Rwanda
Hours per week: 32 - 40
Availability: Available from November 2023
Internship duration: 5 - 6 months
Possible assignments and more difficult tasks:
- Creating and carrying out a marketing communication strategy for our company.
- Focused on our sustainable tourism initiatives, student exchange program, or sponsorship program for youth development;
- Creating and putting into action a social media strategy for our business;
- Creating and directing a documentary for the sponsorship program for youth development;

Activities
The intern's job is to focus on talent transfer while also leaving behind sustainable materials and techniques.
Activities for interns (universal to all studies):
- Attending family gatherings before internship placement and to reveal the selection of YDSP students
- Assistance with data gathering and study execution Assistance with documentation and report writing
- Taking care of and improving our social media channels
- Assisting with the creation and implementation of sustainable tourism activities
- Participating in group sessions for assessments and impact analyses
- Supporting workshops and neighborhood events English & communication, career guidance & counseling, entrepreneurship, culinary arts, Community gatherings and events aimed at including more people
Project Management:
- Supplying suggestions for the project's future development and enhancement
- Own theoretical expertise or professional experience; sharing knowledge and ideas with the team.
- Creating sustainable goods and ideas to support our sponsorship program for youth development in Kigali, Rwanda.
Training and supporting the staff:
- Senior interns with experience are welcome to present suggestions that could advance the work the team is already undertaking.

Intern requirements
- Enthusiastic and skilled in your field
- A student who is open to working with people from other cultures in a global setting, is internationally oriented, adventurous, adaptable, proficient in spoken and written English, can function independently, and is communicatively strong.
- Self-direction when circumstances seem confusing or unclear
- Entering locations where it is important to follow local laws, safety precautions, and traditions
- Acceptance and comprehension of significant cultural disparities
The time frame is adjustable, but we advised students to give themselves at least two months.

YOUNG PEOPLE CAN EXCHANGE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE IN AN INSPIRATION-DRIVEN ENVIRONMENT THAT WE PROVIDE.
Assistance: When traveling to Kigali, Rwanda, or working on an online research project, we provide daily assistance with research writing and reviews, data collection, language interpretation, and local neighborhood guidance.
Workspace for intern: Office space with internet access is offered, along with a training room for workshops and a community space for community outreach initiatives.
We assist interns with all housing needs during their time in Rwanda.
