About the Digital Marketing Department

In 2019, the Bank of Kigali initiated the Digital Factory (BKDF) as a core component of its digital transformation strategy. BKDF, originally an innovation department, was created to revolutionize banking technology and enhance the digital customer experience. Over time, it merged with the business division to create the Digital Bank Division (D-Bank), with a primary focus on developing innovative solutions to directly improve customer satisfaction.

The digital bank's vision is to revolutionize financial services by providing accessible and efficient banking to everyone, emphasizing trust and easy fund access.

What are the requirements for this job?

To excel as a Social Media Manager at Bank of Kigali's Digital Bank Department, the following qualifications and skills are required:

Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

Skills:

  1. Experience: Proven track record of 3 years in team leadership and social media management or digital marketing roles

  2. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute organic social media strategy that ladders up to overall communication and brand strategy, leading to increased fan engagement, followers, channel growth, customer acquisition, referral and traffic and ultimately revenue across all key social platforms.
