About the Digital Marketing Department
In 2019, the Bank of Kigali initiated the Digital Factory (BKDF) as a core component of its digital transformation strategy. BKDF, originally an innovation department, was created to revolutionize banking technology and enhance the digital customer experience. Over time, it merged with the business division to create the Digital Bank Division (D-Bank), with a primary focus on developing innovative solutions to directly improve customer satisfaction.

About the Job
As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive traffic to our digital platforms.
As a vital member of our team, you'll collaborate with various teams to generate innovative ideas for our product advertisements.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, or related fields.
Skills:

Experience: Proven track record of 3 years in social media management or digital marketing roles, preferably within the finance or banking sector.

Proficiency with digital and social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat etc.)

Proficiency in Social Media Management Tools: Experience or willingness to learn and use social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social to schedule posts, track analytics, and manage multiple platforms efficiently.

Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute organic social media strategy that ladders up to overall communication and brand strategy, leading to increased fan engagement, followers, channel growth, customer acquisition, referral and traffic and ultimately revenue across all key social platforms.

Hashtag Strategy: Understanding the significance of hashtags across different platforms, including their use for content discoverability, engagement, and campaign-specific hashtags for broader reach and visibility.
