The Department of Human Resources would like to inform the public of the opportunity for the position of “Marketing Manager”.

JOB SUMMARY

The jobholder is responsible for driving the development and execution of comprehensive marketing and brand strategies.

KEY COMPENTENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS 

• Proven success in developing and implementing marketing strategies in the FMCG industry.
• Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, market trends, and competitive landscape.

• Experience working either in Rwanda or other countries in Africa.
• Experience with digital marketing platforms and analytics tools.
• Experience in research methodologies and testing.
• Good team player with problem solving and judgement skills.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 3 years proven experience in a leadership role.
• Creative thinker with a demonstrated ability to drive innovation in marketing campaigns.
• Good writing and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and public speaking.
• Proficiency in English and / or French.
• Excellent Negotiation skills.
• Computer literacy of at least MS office.
• A Rwandan citizen, either already based in Rwanda or prepared to move back to the country, with full rights to work in the country.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA is a plus.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan aligned with overall business objectives.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of strong, cohesive brand identities.
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and communication materials.
• Plan and execute ATL consumer promotions to increase brand awareness, ensuring that they are integrated with the activities of the sales and trade marketing teams.
• Lead product marketing initiatives for all beverage offerings.
