Rwanda Printery Company (RPC) Limited is a state-owned company, a subsidiary of Agaciro Development Fund, the Rwanda Sovereign Wealth Fund. RPC Ltd wishes to recruit capable candidates to fill the vacant position. The details of that position are hereunder.
Chief Accountant
Job Descriptions
The Chief accountant coordinates all finance activities and reports directly to the Director of administration and finance. The following are key responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements for the company to be reviewed by his/her supervisor.
- Prepare Requisitions and cash payment vouchers
- Record supplier payments, payables, prepayments
- Record deposits received from customers
- Perform bank, inventory, prepayments, VAT refund, payables, and receivable reconciliations
- Provide monthly reports on receivables and suppliers' outstanding payments.
- Ensure that all accounts files are well kept
- Support external and internal audits as required
- Ensure regular financial transaction reconciliations.
- Work with the Director of Administration and Finance and Finance team to accomplish Finance Team goals
- Job holder must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Skills and competences
- Professional qualification ACCA, CPA, or CIMA
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Computer literacy
- Familiar with accounting software.
