1. Job Title: Transit Center Coordinator

Job responsibilities

  • Coordinating all activities carried out in Nyamagabe District Transit Center;
  • Effective management of assets and materials in the Transit Center;
  • Receive all referrals at the Transit Center and maintain their records electronically;
  • To prepare a plan to give presentations in the Transit Center and submit it to the District administration for approval;
  • Implementation of decisions made by the Transit Center Management Committee;
  • Establishing a way to educate returnees in the Transit center based on daily behavior;
  • Taking care of cleanliness and hygiene, safety and taking measures to ensure that there is no epidemic in the Transit Center;
  • Provide morning and evening reports on transit center residents and weekly, monthly and yearly reports;
  • To advise the District administration in taking measures to prevent unusual behavior in the Transit Center;
  • And to organize the inspection of the Transit Center jointly with the District and security agencies in order to monitor the welfare of the recipients.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Sociology, Educational Sciences, Management, Law, Philosophy, Clinical Psychology, Mental Health, Social work with 0 Year of relevant experience

2. Job Title: Agriculture Officer

Job responsibilities

  • Elaborate a local strategy on agriculture, monitor its implementation at Sector level and produce consolidated reports thereof;
  • Organize, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, trainings and campaigns meant to raise local population awareness on the use and importance of modern techniques of agriculture and supervise activities of plant control disease at Sector level;
  • Supervise the identification and mapping of crop diseases prevailing at the Sector level and advise on the preventive and reactive measures across the District;
  • Supervise, monitor the distribution and use of fertilizers and selected seeds across Sectors;
  • Supervise the drainage and irrigation work across Sectors.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agri-business, Rural Development, Agriculture with 1 Years of relevant experience

3. Job Title: Documentation and Archives Officer

Job responsibilities

  • File physical and electronic documents of the One Stop Centre;
  • Maintain an effective cataloguing and indexing of files and regularly update the OSC’s database;
  • Classify and store other relevant documents of the OSC;
  • Trace and avail land files for exploitation by technicians of the OSC as need arises;
  • Issue land file copies to the owner whose original ones are lost in accordance with applicable laws, regulations & procedures;
  • Store and take care of deed plans and any other relevant documents approved by OSC.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Library and Information Science, Office Management, Bibliotheconomy, Secretariat Studies with 0 Year of relevant experience

  • Diploma (A1) in Library & Information Science, Secretariat Studies, Office Management with 0 Year of relevant experience

5. Job Title: Itorero Coordination Program and Community Mobilisation Officer

Job responsibilities

  • Elaborate a local strategy on Itorero and Community Mobilization, monitor its implementation across Sectors and other public and non-public institutions, and produce consolidated reports thereof;
  • Coordinate the establishment and supervise the functioning of Itorero program at Sector level, schools, public and private institutions across the District;
  • Monitor the mobilization and recruitment of volunteers and coordinate the evaluation of their activities across the District;
  • Coordinate activities of the National Commission of Unity and Reconciliation across the District and serve as the Secretary to the Itorero activities Coordination committee;
  • Maintain and update a consolidated databank of Itorero and Unity and Reconciliation activities at the District level.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Administrative Sciences, Sociology, History, Social Work, Political Sciences, Education Sciences, Linguistics and Literature with 0 Year of relevant experience
