The Department of Human Resources would like to inform its estimated staff and the Public of the opportunity for the position of “Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor”.

Job summary
The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all brewery mechanical equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
Key competencies and qualifications
- Has a minimum of 7 years’ experience in Beverage (Breweries) or Food processing industries.
- Has at least 5 years’ experience in Managing maintenance team
- Familiar with Computlizer Maintenance Management system (CMMS)
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in mechanical maintenance operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces (when necessary).
- Willingness to work in industrial environments, which may include exposure to loud noises, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
- Has a bachelor’s degree A0 or A1 in Electro-Mechanical or Mechanical engineering.
- Fluent in French or English
- Able to work under pressure.
- Must be results oriented, able to work to strict deadlines.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and provide guidance and training as needed.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the proper functioning of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.
