1. Job Title: Librarian

Job responsibilities

  • Implement library policies and procedures.
  • Codify, classify, and catalogue books; publications, films, audiovisual aids, and other library materials based on subject matter or standard library classification systems;
  • Locate unusual or unique information in response to specific requests;
  • Keep records of circulation and materials;
  • Explain use of library facilities, resources; equipment, and services, and provide information to the users;
  • Review and evaluate resource material, such as book reviews and catalogues, in order to select and order print, audiovisual, and electronic resources;
  • Respond to customer complaints, taking action as necessary;
  • Organize collections of books, publications, documents, audiovisual aids, and other reference materials for convenient access;
  • Evaluate materials to determine outdated or unused items to be discarded;
  • Develop information access aids such as indexes and annotated bibliographies, web pages, electronic pathfinders, and on-line tutorials;
  • Compile lists of books, periodicals, articles, and audiovisual materials on particular subject;
  • Arrange for interlibrary loans of materials not available in a particular library;
  • Assemble and arrange display materials.
  • Develop and index databases that provide information for library users;
  • Perform public relations work for the library, such as giving televised book reviews and community talks.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Library and Information Science, Information Management, Library Sciences, Archives and Documentation
  • Advanced Diploma in Library Sciences, Information Management, Archives and documentation, Library and Information Science

2. Job Title: Chief Accountant

Job responsibilities

  • Ensure daily management of accounting operations;
  • Ensure if the payment is done within reasonable time;
  • Ensure quality of accounting records in accordance with accounting standards and principles;
  • Implement audit recommendations;
  • Verify and reconciliation actions for all expenditures and receipts;
  • Implement risk management strategies, by protecting accounting records from unauthorized access and inadvertent loss of information;
  • Advise the Director of finance on proper way of fair management in accounting operations.
  • Disseminate laws and regulations regarding to taxes and taxes exemptions;
  • Disseminate MINICOFIN Financial Procedure Manuals;
  • Ensure that NPPA Complies with regulations and instructions regarding payment.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, accounting with CPA/CPFA/CPFM intermediate level /ACCA Foundation Level (Completion of ACCA Applied Skills papers) with 3 Years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance with a foundation level two of CPA/CIA/CPFA/CPFM/ACCA (completion of ACCA first six papers) with 3 Years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance with API Certificate and experience in PFM with 3 Years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance with IPSAS Certificate with 3 Years of relevant experience

  • Master’s degree in Public Financial Management with 3 Years of relevant experience

3. Job Title: Public Relations Officer

Job responsibilities

  • Elaborate the annual communication plan and its corresponding budget;
  • Maintain relationships with various public and private media;
  • Collect complaints of internal services on needs of public in terms of institution's information.
  • Elaborate corresponding communications/messages based on targeted group and disseminate them via most appropriate media.
  • Develop methods, tools to be used and launch the surveys;
  • Collect compiles and analyzes the results of investigations and complaints received in the suggestions' box and identify key ideas;
  • Collect and processes information from users on their expectations, satisfactions, and type of disputes with the institution;
  • Provide advice and recommendations to improve the image and quality of the services delivered by the institution.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Media with 0 Year of relevant experience
  • A holder of a Bachelor's Degree in any field with relevant Professional experience in communication, or media is eligible with 3 Years of relevant experience
