The firm is hereby inviting qualified candidates to apply in the following full time job position as per hereinafter outlined requirements and responsibilities for the recruitment process:
1. Job Title: Road Engineer (2 Positions)
Responsibilities
The selected Engineer will be expected to perform the following key responsibilities but not limited to:
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and assessments to gather relevant data for road projects supervision, planning and design.
- Prepare detailed engineering designs, including road alignments, cross-sections, and drainage systems.
- Develop technical specifications, tender documents, and cost estimates for road construction projects.
- Supervise road construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and departments to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
- Liaise and coordinate with government authorities, contractors, and community representatives to address project-related concerns and ensure effective communication
Qualifications and experiences
The candidate should possess the following qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of general experience in civil or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in road engineering, including project planning, design, and construction supervision.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and road design software.
- Sound knowledge of road construction materials, techniques, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with applicable codes, regulations, and safety practices related to road infrastructure.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities
2. Job Title: Building Engineer (2 Positions)
Responsibilities
The selected Engineer will be expected to perform the following key responsibilities but not limited to:

3. Job Title: Structural Engineer
Responsibilities
The selected Engineer will be expected to perform the following key responsibilities but not limited to:
- Perform structural analysis and design calculations.
- Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure structural compliance.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address issues.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.
Qualifications and experiences
The candidate should possess the following qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Structural Engineering, including project planning, design, and construction supervision.
- Proficient in using structural design and analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro).
- In-depth knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, Eurocodes).
- Strong understanding of structural behaviour and analysis techniques.
- Experience in designing various types of structures (e.g., buildings, bridges, industrial facilities).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Job Title: Site Inspector
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be expected to perform the following key responsibilities but not limited to:
- Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and relevant regulations.
- Verifying the quality of construction materials, equipment, and workmanship.
- Monitoring construction activities to identify potential safety hazards and taking appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
- Documenting inspection findings, including photographs, measurements, and other relevant data.
- Preparing detailed inspection reports and submitting them.
- Collaborating with project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to address non- compliance issues and implement corrective measures.
- Providing guidance and support to contractors regarding compliance requirements and best practices.
- Staying up-to-date with relevant construction regulations, codes, and industry standards
Qualifications and experiences
- A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Having general experience of 5 years
- Proven experience of 3 years in construction inspection or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and quality control practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using construction inspection tools, software, and equipment.
5. Job Title: Lab technician
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be expected to perform the following key responsibilities but not limited to:
- Handling and processing laboratory samples, following established protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Conducting experiments and tests
- Analyzing data, interpreting results, and preparing accurate reports.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and performing routine maintenance and calibration checks.
- Assisting in the development and optimization of laboratory protocols and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with laboratory safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Participating in regular laboratory meetings and discussions to provide updates on ongoing projects.
- Keeping accurate records of experiments, results, and laboratory activities.
- Contributing to the preparation of scientific papers, reports, and presentations
Qualifications and experiences
- A diploma (A1) in a relevant scientific field (civil engineering, construction, construction materials or a related discipline)
- Having general experience of 6 years
- Proven experience of 4 years in laboratory woks,
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques, including sample handling, experiment execution, data analysis, and report writing.
- Experience with relevant scientific software and equipment is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures. Familiarity with relevant scientific literature and methodologies.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with team members
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues and propose effective solution
