Title:  HR Business Partner

BRALIRWA Plc, is looking for a Strategic thinker Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), spontaneous, relationship builder, Innovative and great communicator to join our passionate HR Professionals. You will be partnering with the commerce & support functions leadership team to deliver the organization ambitions aligned to the company strategic goals. As HR Business Partner you will be located in Kigali, Rwanda reporting to the Human Resources Director (HRD).

JOB PURPOSE
To create value of the employee and the organization.  In your daily work, you will operate as a true strategic partner and value driver for BRALIWA Plc. You understand your key stakeholder’s challenge; you contribute in developing and delivering solutions that support BRALIRWA plc to maintain its Market leadership and offer excellent employee experiences. 

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES 
Talent acquisition 

  • Responsible for end-to – end talent attraction process and talents experiences 

  • Manage and maintain a good relationship with candidates and recruitment agencies

  • Consistently in search of great talents in the Market and maintain talent pool for future 

Talent Management and Development 

  • Support the HRD and Commerce & Support functions Directors  to implement a robust Talent Management process and coach Line Managers on how to lead the talent development discussions

  • Participate in developing management succession plans and together with function directors identified successors are developed 

  • Support the organization to build a culture of feedback in alignment with HEINEKEN Leadership expectations and behaviors 

  • Work closely with the center of excellence to drive Performance and Organization Development strategies.

  • Provide support and assist execution of ad-hoc human resources projects

Performance Management 

  • Guideline Managers on Performance Review and People Management related processes  

  • Support the Commerce & Support functions Directors to build performance driven culture 

  • Manage the performance Review process in alignment with HEINEKEN global guidelines

  • Develop and promote feedback mechanisms within commerce & support functions

  • Provide support and assist execution of ad-hoc human resources projects.

Organization & Change Management

  • Lead the strategic workforce planning within commerce & support functions and coordinate change plan implementation

  • Detect required changes, assess the risk and propose a plan to ensure the change is embraced.

  • As a change agent, you partner with commerce & support functions Leadership team to effectively communicate the changes, implement, and deliver a positive climate.

  • Prepare the communications plan related to restructuring, in cooperation with Senior Management and Legal department.

Employee relations

  • Offer consultations and resolution strategies for workplace issues to employees and managers

  • Assist in interpretation, explanation, and clarification of BRALIRWA Plc policies and procedures 

  • Facilitate dialogues on employee/employer issues

  • Provide counsel to line managers and employees regarding employment related enquiries

  • Lead negotiations and foster constructive working relationships with employees, Managers and Staff Representatives

  • Ensure the Labor law and HEINKEN Human Right policies are respected and followed 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial Psychology, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or any other related field. A Masters’ degree or an HR Certification will be an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience at HR Management level with at least 5 years hands-on in experience in people management.

  • Good business acumen and adaptable to change 

  • High integrity and ability to coach 

  • Strategic and tactical delivery skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively in English, Kinyarwanda and   French will be an added advantage.

  • Analytical and have an excellent attention to details are a must

  • Ability to work on tight deadlines and independently

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office/ HR Systems is essential.

  • Open, fun and strong team player

  • Interested in data insights and decision making 

  • Experience working in International organization will be an added advantage.
