About You and the Role

We seek an experienced sales coordinator who can identify potential sales opportunities and utilize their expertise to comprehend the product components of our IremboPay platform. You excel at showcasing the platform's functionality to customers, ensuring a clear understanding of its benefits. Your responsibilities will extend to assessing customer needs and providing tailored solutions that meet their requirements.

IremboPay is a payment gateway designed and developed to provide users with a seamless and innovative payment experience by enabling governments and businesses in Africa to collect and process all types of payments. This product will be key in accelerating Africa's economic growth through payments.

What you will do:

  • Researching and identifying potential clients and markets for the IremboPay platform.

  • Generating leads through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking events.

  • Qualifying leads based on their interest and budget and ability to fit with the platform's capabilities.

  • Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, functionality, and benefits of the IremboPay platform.

  • Highlighting how the platform can streamline payment processes, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience for businesses.

  • Collaborating with potential clients to understand their specific payment processing needs, challenges, and objectives.

  • Developing expertise in specific industries or sectors where the platform can provide significant value.

  • Conducting market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for the e-payment platform.

  • Analyzing market data, customer feedback, and sales performance metrics to inform sales strategies, product positioning, and market expansion efforts.

  • Working closely with internal teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.

  • Providing feedback and insights from client interactions to inform product development, marketing campaigns, and customer service initiatives.

  • Managing the sales pipeline, from initial contact to closing deals. This includes tracking leads, following up on inquiries, and maintaining accurate records of all sales activities.

  • Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments is vital, necessitating thorough research to pinpoint new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

You will be a good fit if:

  • You have 2-3 years of proven work experience as a Sales Representative, preferably in a technology company.

  • You have a Bachelor of Science in Business and/or related field /additional qualifications.

  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.

  • Excellent sales, client relationship, and communication skills.

  • Goal-oriented, persistent, and skilled negotiator.

  • Continuously seek to find new ways the business can operate more efficiently.

  • Able to share complex thoughts simply on paper or in person by pitching decks.

  • Ability to learn new domains and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The mindset of continuous improvement.

  • Self-directed with a can-do attitude. Has the ability to prioritize various needs and delegate efficiently.

  • Positive "can-do" mindset, capable of taking initiative and working independently. Proficient in prioritizing tasks effectively.

  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Technology enthusiast. Keep abreast of the trends and changes in the technology world that are relevant to the clients.
