MERCHANT POS ACQUIRING LEAD
Job Summary:
The POS Product Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Merchant POS solutions. He/She will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the product lifecycle, from ideation and strategy to development, launch, and ongoing improvement. This role will be supervised by the Merchant Acquiring & Cards Issuing Senior Manager.
Key Responsibilities and Accountability
- Deliver target and growth Merchant recruitment.
- Work in close collaboration with the SME/Corporate Relationship Managers & Relationship Officers for referrals and securing appointments for the merchants.
- Ensure proper Merchant activation and basic training are properly attended to and conduct regular visits and training to Merchants users.
- Monitor the Merchant POS performance per Merchants Per Branches.
- Promote the Bank’s corporate image among Bank Merchants
- Oversee the ecient delivery and management of POS hardware and bank materials.
- Implement processes to ensure timely and accurate merchant le processing and approvals (TAT).
- Monitor POS system uptime and stability and address any technical issues promptly on Net server /PM server and Network.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants, addressing their concerns and resolving issues eectively.
- Manage Merchants relationship and ensure their complaints are sorted on time.
- Ensure Bank tools are safely kept and monitored (POS, Paper Rolls & Chargers) & provide needed support on repairs.
- Agents and Merchants POS conguration and /or reconguration/ Repair -Verication
- Assets - POS & sim cards stock movement management reconciliation
- Ensuring Customer Satisfaction and retention
- Ensuring 100% compliance to the Bank’s policy
- To perform any other duty assigned by the line manager.
Qualification, Experience, Skills and Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field. Advanced degree (MBA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in product management, with at least 3 years directly focused on POS or related retail technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, sales processes, and a keen eye for identifying opportunities to drive eciency and revenue through innovative POS solutions.
- Takes ownership of the product's success with a strong outcomes-driven approach.
- Thorough knowledge of banks policies & procedures.
- Good understanding of the banking industry
- Profficient in the use of various Microsoft Office Applications.
- Comprehensive understanding of Relationship Management
