COPEDU PLC, is a trading company engaged in savings and credits. It was registered as a trading company in the Development Bank (RDB) on February 21, 2013 and licensed by the Central Bank of Rwanda (BNR) on 13/03/2014 to operates as a microfinance institution in Rwanda.

COPEDU PLC invites interested candidates to apply for the position of Branch Manager.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Branch Manager participates in defining the bank's objectives. Their goal is to increase the volume, quality, and profitability of all branch services while continually managing risks. They develop their client base according to business objectives and available resources, and they manage their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Coordinate branch activities;
  • Supervise the counters under their responsibility;

  • Participate in implementing marketing and communication actions and execute the established commercial policy;
  • Organize the recruitment of new clients and ensure their retention;
  • Participate in prospecting new clients;
  • Create and maintain good relationships with local economic actors;
  • Set and evaluate branch performance indicators;
  • Manage financial and material resources available at the branch;
  • Oversee human resources management, including performance management, leave, and disciplinary issues;
  • Ensure compliance with policies, manuals, and regulations in force;
  • Supervise the management of banking operations and transactions;
  • Ensure optimal management of the credit portfolio;
  • Implement credit policy;
  • Increase the volume and quality of branch credits;
  • Adhere to liquidity management security measures and COPEDU Plc procedures;
  • Propose adjustments and/or adaptations to existing manuals and policies;
  • Produce periodic reports;
  • Perform any other similar tasks assigned by superiors;

REQUIRED PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or other related fields;
  • At least 4 years of experience in Business or marketing;
  • Knowledge of Finance Institution products and Services;
  • Proficiency in sales, prospecting, and negotiation techniques;
  • Strong interpersonal and managerial skills;
  • Proficiency in office software;
  • Mastery of written and verbal communication;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
