DIGITAL LENDING MANAGER
The role holder will manage the digital lending products portfolio, organize, plan, and monitor digital lending business growth strategies execution, ensuring increased number of borrowers, value, and revenue, minimizing risk exposure, maintaining excellent customer relationship, support, loyalty, and satisfaction. The role holder is also responsible for overall digital lending products’ systems sustenance, ensuring timely support from the technical team for seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities and Accountability
- Champion the growth of the digital lending portfolio and revenue with minimal risks and losses.
- Devise and implement strategies to achieve monthly digital lending business growth targets.
- Provide high level reports to the management on performance analysis for decision making.
- Liaise with branches to monitor performance of the digital loan portfolio and ensure the Portfolio-At-Risk (PAR) is maintained at acceptable levels as set by the Bank.
- Develop and maintain a good relationship with the clients, consistently oering excellent Customer support & experience.
- Ensure that customer performance reports are provided within stipulated time frames and in the desired format and quality.
- Collaborate with the debt recovery team to ensure timely & ecient recovery.
- Work closely with branches and RM for better customer support and business growth.
- Make use of existing technologies to maximize customer contact whilst minimizing cost per contact, review and propose new technologies as required.
- Ensure compliance with all credit policies and procedures.
- Any other duties as shall be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
Qualification, Experience, Skills and Attributes
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or in a related field, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in nancial services especially credit management and preferably in a credit collections background. Professional course in Credit Management would be an added advantage.
- Strong financial and accounting skills with CPA and ACCA certications an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of overall banking operations, credit policy, processes, and procedures with an in-depth knowledge of credit management systems and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of sales and recovery techniques.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A high aptitude and comfort level with technical environments and the ability to independently work in a highly demanding environment to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent business relationship management skills
- Ability to formulate collection strategies and concepts.
- Should have an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset.
- Ability to remain highly organized and be able to multitask, deliver results and meet customer expectations.
- Strong leadership capabilities, analytical, negotiation and critical thinking skills
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, and ability to build partnerships with internal stakeholders and clients.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and deliver timely results.
- Ability to coach, mentor, train, and transfer skills to others.
