The company is looking for a competent & experienced person to take on the role of Micro-Insurance Officer.

Job Summary:

SONARWA Life is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Officer for Micro-insurance to join our innovative team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals passionate about developing insurance solutions that cater to the needs of low-income populations, enhancing their financial security and supporting community resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development and Management:

• Assist in designing and developing micro-insurance products tailored to the needs of the underserved and low-income segments.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of existing micro-insurance products, suggesting adjustments to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Client Outreach and Education

• Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to develop educational materials and campaigns that effectively communicate the benefits of micro-insurance.
• Participate in community outreach programs to increase awareness and uptake of micro-insurance products.

Market Research

• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and understand the needs and preferences of potential clients.
• Analyze competitive offerings to ensure our micro-insurance products are competitive and relevant.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with NGOs, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote micro-insurance solutions and gather feedback for product refinement.
• Support partnership development efforts to expand the reach and impact of microinsurance services.

Regulatory Compliance and Reporting

• Ensure all micro-insurance initiatives comply with local regulations and company policies.
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders on the progress and impact of micro-insurance initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in either micro-insurance, micro-lending, or a related role.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
