JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: PROJECT FACILITATOR
Founded in February 2012, FXB Rwanda is a local non-governmental organization (NGO) in Rwanda. It is associated with FXB International, an international non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 1989 whose goal is to address the causes of poverty in order to protect children's rights to live, grow, and develop. FXB Rwanda is presently looking to hire one Project Facilitator to work alongside the rest of the team in attaining the objectives of this program as part of its FXBVillage Light Foundation implemented in Nyaruguru District.

SCOPE OF WORK:
The project facilitator is in charge of organizing and carrying out the FXBVillage Program activities carried out within the designated FXBVillage. He or she will be the recipients' primary source of direct interventions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Offering beneficiaries program services in the areas of economics, education, health, nutrition, and social aspects;
- Keeping a database of beneficiaries and regularly updating it;
- Ensuring that all program participants, volunteers, and stakeholders receive training on the core program interventions, such as WASH, housing, nutrition, health, HIV prevention, and economic empowerment;
- Create action plans and budgets for initiatives pertaining to the areas of economics, education, social assistance, health, nutrition, and HIV prevention;
- Assure the delivery of high-quality services to all parties involved, the prompt submission of reports of the highest caliber, and the correct documentation and filing;
- Take part in program activity monitoring and evaluation that involves all stakeholders;
- Ensure that all sponsored children enrolled in school get the supplies, uniform, and fees they require, perform well in class, and stay in school until they graduate;
- Beneficiaries are educated on a variety of topics, such as family planning, sexual and reproductive health, HIV, hygiene, nutrition, economic development, education, and children's rights, without being confined to these topics;
- When necessary, provide beneficiaries with psychosocial support;
- Advocating on behalf of FXB Rwanda in the attachment area;
- Verify that program participants are following WASH and hygiene principles and that they have access to proper hygiene and WASH materials;
- Frequent reporting on the activities of the program in the designated implementation region;
- Make home visits to program participants to offer assistance and to monitor program activity;
- Engaging primarily local leaders, businesspeople, and other essential stakeholders to ensure the success of the initiative;
- Carry out any additional tasks or responsibilities that the supervisor may designate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, clinical psychology, sociology, public health, the social sciences, medicine, or a closely related subject;
- At least three years of proven experience implementing initiatives for vulnerable populations; and at least two years of experience in a comparable role;
- Knowledgeable about creating and presenting reports, budgets, and action plans;
- Experience in nursing and/or psychosocial support interventions is advantageous;
- Working knowledge of initiatives run by local leaders;
- English, French, and Kinyarwanda communication skills that are excellent both verbally and in writing;
- Competent with Microsoft Office and G Suite;
- Abilities in management and teamwork;
- Rwandan by nationality, willing to work in rural areas and to live in the workplace;
- Category A driver's license is necessary.
