JOB ANNOUNCEMENT 

Position: Kindergarten/Nursery teachers 

A non-denominational Christian school called Wellspring Academy was founded with the goal of raising up a new generation of servant leaders who would benefit Rwanda and represent the country's best side to the rest of the world. Our goal is to prepare students for careers as highly trained, obedient leaders and agents of social change.

In order to incorporate a Christian worldview into the curriculum, Wellspring Academy is looking to hire highly qualified, devoted, energetic, and experienced Christ-centered professionals to work as the Kindergarten/nursery teachers.

This person is anticipated to work well with a variety of pupils, be knowledgeable about research-based teaching strategies and early elementary material, and actively desire to join our learning community. 

Job Nature and Purpose:

At Wellspring Academy, the kindergarten/nursery teacher is in charge of the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Make lesson plans for kindergarteners at Wellspring Academy on a monthly and daily basis.
  • Keep your professional standards at a high level in line with the vision and goal of Wellspring Academy.
  • Be in charge of keeping an eye on kids during playtime inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Deliver lessons as scheduled, integrating a biblical worldview.
  • Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and other professional development trainings organized by ACSI and Cambridge Assessment International Examinations.
  • Collaborate with other educators, staff members, and the administration.
  • Show punctuality when reporting to the campus for classes, meetings, devotions, and morning duty. You should also set aside enough time after school to do chores and prepare for the next day's class.
  • Consistently maintain the classroom's cleanliness and order
  • By being informed of and following the pertinent school policies and procedures, you can ensure the children' health, safety, and general well-being.
  • Inform parents on a frequent basis on the development and requirements of the kids.

Reporting

Kindergarten instructors are directly responsible to the coordinator for the Kindergarten section. 

Professional Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an authorized higher education school, particularly in early childhood or education.

Expected knowledge and abilities:

  • English or kindergarten teaching experience of at least TWO years. Any overseas program teaching experience will be a plus.
  • practical knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • French and/or English language proficiency is essential.

  • To accomplish the obligations and responsibilities, one must be physically, mentally, and healthily fit.

Employment agreement 

After successfully completing the first year, which includes a three-month probationary term, the employment contract is for a full-time employee for an open-ended length of time.
