The Rwanda Interlink Transport Company (RITCO) is seeking candidates to fill the following opening:

POSITION: OFFICER, MONITORING AND EVALUATION SPECIALIST

Important Responsibilities and Tasks

• Creation of databases and technologies for gathering the data required for decision-making;
• Data evaluation and interpretation for decision-makers;
• The coordination of the company's annual action plans with the 5-year strategic plan's implementation;
• Playing a part in the creation and expression of, among other things, policies, strategies, corporate plans, guiding principles, and concepts;
• Enhancing the skills of decision-makers in the areas of reporting and interpreting data as well as strategic planning;
• Do additional tasks as directed by the senior leadership of the firm;

Job Specifications and Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's or master's degree in economics, project management, research, statistics, social sciences, or a closely connected field.
• Ideally in the corporate business sector, the candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a monitoring and evaluation function.
• Expertise analyzing data using a variety of quantitative approaches, including analyses utilizing statistical programs like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, SPSS, or STAT.
• Experience conducting program evaluations, including creating data collection techniques and instruments, presenting and visualizing data, and writing M&E technical reports successfully.
• Talents to coordinate a team, mentor, coach, and supervise;
• Knowledge of national development agenda, research, data analysis, and reporting, global, continental, and regional development agendas, results-based management application, and policy formulation and analysis;
• Capacity for multitasking and the ability to solve complex problems.
