The Rwanda Interlink Transport Company (RITCO) is seeking candidates to fill the following opening:

ICT MANAGER, POST 

Specialist responsibilities and duties  

• create and launch the IT systems that RITCO will employ for its business activities;
• facilitating the creation and exchange of ICT knowledge
• Supporting and educating management and personnel about ICT applications
• as necessary, assist with running network operating systems and systems administration tasks.
• installing and managing ICT applications and data connectivity infrastructure for the office
• being in charge of incorporating new features and updates into the existing software
• Giving feedback on the development of internal ICT policies and processes.
• The yearly work plan and reporting for ICT are being developed and updated.
• carrying out system administrative tasks
• conducting routine evaluations of network and data security
• managing and establishing timelines for significant IT projects
• Participation in educational and training activities

Job Specifications and Requirements

• a master's degree in an ICT-related discipline, such as networking, software engineering, or computer science. If applicants with bachelor's degrees in related subjects can demonstrate extraordinary domain knowledge, they will be accepted.
• Working history: 8+ years of experience working in the ICT industry for a reputable organization domestically or overseas;
• working familiarity with the required software, operating systems, and programming
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• sharp focus on the details and priorities
• Prioritization, effective time management, and organization
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Effective communication abilities, including active listening, speaking, and writing
• excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• The ideal applicant should be skilled at multitasking and knowledgeable about the many work streams involved in IT projects.
• must have previous management experience with IT systems.
• Candidates that are chosen must be driven by outcomes and committed to greatness.
• able to communicate in English, French, and Kinyarwanda.
