The Rwanda Interlink Transport Company (RITCO) would like to recruit staff for the following vacant position:

POST:  SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER (1)

Important Tasks and Duties.

• Preparing, creating, and putting into action PR strategy;
• Interact with coworkers and represent RITCO as its representative;
• Interact with the media and respond to questions from the public, the general public, and other organizations, frequently in person or over the phone and email;
• Produce press releases, do research, and send them to the appropriate media;
• Compile and evaluate press coverage;
• All internal publications, case studies, speeches, articles, and yearly reports should be written and edited;
• Prepare and oversee the creation of promotional flyers, pamphlets, direct mail pieces, videos, photos, and multimedia programs;
• Oversee the upkeep and updating of the organization's website;
• Manage content updates and user interaction on social media platforms like Twitter;
• Foster neighborhood relationships by taking part in community projects and hosting open days;
• Control the PR ramifications of a possible disaster;
• Give the managerial, logistical, and administrative assistance required to carry out the RITCO mandate, particularly in the areas of budget, finance, human resources management, general services, logistics, etc., to contribute to the Realization of the RITCO objective;
• Serve as the primary advisor on all issues relating to stakeholder and public relations;
• Take on any additional tasks that their superiors may assign them. 

Job Specifications and Requirements

• Possess a master's or bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a closely related subject;
• Five years of experience working in marketing or public relations;
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities;
• Outstanding interpersonal abilities;
• IT proficiency;
• Presentation abilities;
• The capacity to successfully plan and set priorities;
• Creativity;
• The key is understanding the transportation industry;
• Speaks English, French, and Kinyarwanda with ease
