Sports Officer at Kigali City

Job Description

• Implementing the district's local sports strategy developed by the City of Kigali and producing consolidated reports on it; 
• Advertising sporting events, classes, and activities in the area, frequently to a particular neighborhood or to specific groups;
• Establishingsport, recreation, and health initiatives and managing their progress and execution;
• Collaborating with clubs to create best practices in coaching, youth development, and other areas, such safety, to operate clubs successfully;
• Collaborating with educational programs to promote sport participation and coordinate parental and public involvement;
• Educating the public about concerns related to health and fitness and encouraging sport participation, especially among underrepresented populations;
• Introducing performance indicators to evaluate and keep track of sports initiatives;
• Keeping track of records and writing reports;
• The collaboration with national governing organization for particular sport in relation to clubs and events;
• Forming alliances with organizations and projects dedicated to sports and health education;
• Execute any obligations imposed under immediate supervision

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Sports Studies , Health and Exercise Science, Sports Development, Physical Education , Sports Management , Physical Education with 0 Years of Experience in the Field
