Job Description
Duties and responsibilities:
- Effectively oversee the urban parking service providers' provision of services;
- Ensure service providers provide a high-quality service and a flexible attitude to working by supervising the operational arrangements for the provision of the parking enforcement service;
- To serve as the district's primary source of parking-related assistance for the City, including guidance on pertinent elements of planning applications, other developers' ideas, and, when appropriate, developments suggested by other City business units;
- Contribute to large-scale regeneration projects and multi-agency collaborations implementing locally tailored parking programs;
- Control the district's city parking infrastructure, offering guidance on new initiatives and upgrade plans;
- Communicate with the police and other stakeholders to establish productive working relationships about parking and traffic management issues;
- Manage consultants or contractors for projects and improvements, creating briefs and directing/supervising their work;
- Ensure that the provision of services complies with applicable laws (including those pertaining to data privacy, equal rights, health and safety, and the protection of children and vulnerable individuals), current regulations, recognized professional standards, and City policies and procedures.
- Observe the district's urban informal settlement improvement policy as it is being put into practice by the City of Kigali;
- Community mobilization for active engagement and participation in district-wide projects to upgrade urban informal settlements;
- Monitoring the resolution of land and property-related issues during the execution of projects for upgrading urban informal settlements;
- Perform any additional tasks that your supervisor deems appropriate.
- Encourage, monitor, and promote citizen-led efforts to build neighborhood infrastructure;
- Carry out any additional tasks outlined by your supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Commercial Engineering, Public Transport with 0 Years of Experience in the Field
