Senior Tax Officer at AB Bank Rwanda Plc

In order to fill the positions of Senior Tax Officer and Financial Controller, AB BANK Rwanda Plc. is seeking a skilled and professional employee. 

The Chief Finance Officer will receive reports from the Senior Tax Officer and Financial Controller, who will be accountable for:

• Management of petty cash, proper payment procedures, and upkeep of improved financial control systems;
• Responsible for creating accounting records, monitoring the budget, and reporting;
• Principal conservator of the bank's fixed assets;
• Managing taxes; Whenever necessary, advising Management on how to manage expenses effectively;
• Complete whatever additional work that management may from time to time assign. 

Necessary Experience, Skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related subject.
• A solid background with at least three years of experience in the financial control and tax management departments of a bank, financial institution, or auditing firm.
• Any professional certification in tax management or finance would be advantageous.
• Budgeting abilities
• Strong organizational abilities
• Strong reporting abilities
• Integrity and sincerity
• Possess exceptional Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, secrecy about financial records and any other sensitive information made available to Her/Him Ability to arrange work autonomously in an effective manner.
• Understanding of computer programs and fundamentals of financial accounting
• Effective use of the English language.
