LAIS Processors at Kigali City

Job Description

• Verify all transaction criteria before processing;
• LAIS operation at the zonal or district level;
• Making sure that all equipment is operational, alerting the ICT Advisor if a system is not, so that they may either fix it or make sure it is fixed;
• Make any systemic improvements you think could enhance or facilitate their job.
• Receiving claimants' files, verifying that the person transferring or changing rights is actually the owner of that right and that the transfer or modification is free of encumbrances;
• Making a provisional update to LAIS (a transaction may only be modified to LAIS with the registrar's approval);
• Scanning and uploading to LAIS any supporting papers.
• Printing leases, certifications, and extracts, and sending them to the appropriate sectors, if accepted;

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law, Statistics, Land Surveying, Geography, Surveying and Geomatics Engineering with Land Administration and Management with 0 Year of relevant experience
