Border Cargo Inspectors at Rwanda Inspectorate And Competition Authority (RICA)

Job Description

• Conduct daily inspections of the entry and departure points for imported and exported goods that are subject to the RICA mandate and submit reports as necessary. 
• Gather samples and deliver them to labs for examination and analysis;
• Interpret test results and talk about them with your immediate supervisor when making inspection decisions.
• Determine the physical resources needed at the inspection site and request them from the immediate supervisor;
• Produce and submit periodical reports as needed.
• Assume extra duties as assigned by superiors in a hierarchy.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Public Health, Aerospace Engineering, Animal Sciences, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biochemistry, Food Sciences, Chemistry Sciences, Agriculture Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Biological Sciences, Engineering Sciences with 0 Year of relevant experience
