Job Description

  • Daily task delegation to casual laborers and the deployment of casual workers (providing employment opportunities for women, men, and young people).
  • Offer site agronomists technical direction for the entire process, including planting, fertilizer application, and soil preparation. 
  • Offer the site technicians daily technical direction 
  • Assist in forming small groups of landowners (called "Amatsinda") in order to establish an on-site extension system (Twigire extension system), consolidate land, and maximize the value of the developed command area within scheme (ensure that prepared land/plots are well planted using green fertilizers and compost combined with precise application of synthetic fertilizer if needed), and ensure the performance of the technical team (site agronomists) deployed on the site.
  • Offer the project field staff and the site coordinator timely technical guidance.
  • Assist the scheme coordinator with timely payroll creation, evaluation and upkeep of incident reports, ensuring that there is no gender-based discrimination occurring, ensuring the security of deployed manpower, keeping track of daily labor force attendance, etc. 
  • To develop, cross-check, and submit weekly manpower lists.
  • Write up and deliver daily and weekly reports, copying the project field staff and submitting them to the site coordinator.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture with 0 Year of relevant experience

Or

Advanced diploma in Agriculture with 0 Year of relevant experience
