I. Summary of Overall Role and Responsibilities
The hospital's network must be always accessible to all users, and the ICT Officer is in charge of doing so.
II. Key Duties and Tasks
- Integrate security, physical control solutions for all confidential data and systems;
- Monitor performance and manage parameters to deliver quick replies to front-end users.
- Maintain and troubleshoot any network and computer-related issues.
- Determine user requirements and system functionality, and make sure ICT facilities satisfy these requirements.
- Creating, planning, and implementing an ICT action plan with a budget
- Developing and maintaining a cutting-edge, reliable, affordable, and always-available ICT infrastructure.
- To ensure relationships with outside ICT businesses
- To schedule hardware and software upgrades and security backups
- To install computers, printers, and other peripheral devices
- To manage requests for ICT equipment and toner as well as diagnose, repair, update, and maintain computers, printers, and other ICT equipment.
- Establish a regular maintenance schedule for computers, printers, and other ICT devices.
- Assist staff members in setting up and using audio-visual equipment for lectures, workshops, or training sessions.
- Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and updating antivirus and application software.
- Disposal of ICT equipment that is no longer in use.
- Deliver efficient IT support to various departments on schedule.
