Job Description
- Assist patients and clients as necessary to complete the transfer in a secure manner.
- Perform daily checks (oil level, water level, tire pressure, etc.) before starting the car.
- Prior to each shift, conduct a mechanical check-up to make that the ambulance is operational and prepared to carry patients to and from the necessary destinations.
- Fill out the proper trip sheets as directed by your line manager to formally document each transport.
- Effectively updates dispatch on the status of the schedule and receives instructions.
- Prior to each shift and in between patient transports throughout the day, make sure the ambulance is clean and adequately supplied with first aid and medical supplies.
- Verify that all necessary supplies and documentation, such as automobile insurance, are available.
- Ensure that traffic laws are followed.
- With the assistance of medical personnel, put patients onto ambulances on gurneys.
- Let the logistics division know if there will be any significant repairs.
- Keep a professional demeanor and outlook toward clients, guests, and coworkers.
- Maintain the cars' cleanliness
- Offer dependable and secure transportation services
- Describe any accidents or other emergency situations.
- Address minor car technical issues
- Using health facility vehicles to transport patients and clients in a professional and safe manner.
Minimum Qualifications

A2 certificate with a valid driving license (B, C or D) with 3 years working experience as a driver.
