For the Secretariat located in the Kigali-Rwanda Prime Economic Zone (Jumbo Industrial Parker), Kigali Ceramics Ltd is seeking to hire sales and marketing officers.

Responsibilities and Tasks of a Sales Officer

  • selling construction supplies in order to satisfy customers   
  • Make sure materials are loaded, packed, and shipped in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Selling the stock in less than a few days from the time it was in stock and producing the required order documents with no transit delays or paperwork omissions.
  • Maintain effective client relations and communication
  • Develop sales volume in stems, pricing, and turnover while promoting new products, commercial trials, and sales.
  • Make sure to meet your budget turnover and stem price goals.
  • the creation of daily, weekly, and monthly sales statistics
  • Review client claims, create an action plan report, and make sure that claims are under control.
  • Attend weekly claim meetings and be prepared.
  • Make sure there is no client claim,
  • pricing adjustments and the introduction of new types.

Daily basis work:

  • Confirm the orders of the clients to them.
  • Ensure that all pricing are updated in accordance with the time of year and the needs of the customers.
  • The daily plan is completed by the sales office each day. Print the document
  • While the sales manager is not present in the office, prepare the daily strategy.
  • Prepare the packing list, commercial invoice, and other documents as required when the shipment is concluded, and make sure the documents are daily approved by the Sales Manager.
  • On the day of the shipment date, make sure that all the documents are emailed to the clients.
  • Participate in events to advertise business products and discover new markets.
  • Any additional responsibilities that may occasionally be delegated to the bearer by management.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • In a related profession, such as business administration, marketing, or communications;
  • Proven background as a sales and marketing executive in a high-pressure setting
  • Experience in creating effective company plans and strategies for all facets of marketing (branding, product promotion, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of data analysis and market research techniques
  • The capacity to use marketing strategies across digital (social media, for example) and non-digital (print, for example) channels
  • Knowledge of many business areas (such as IT and finance)
  • Expert with Microsoft Office and other business software
  • A manager having both analytical and creative skills
