The Bank of Kigali Digital Factory (BKDF) was launched in 2019 as the center of facilitating the Bank’s digital transformation journey. The Digital Factory is a well-established innovation department that aims to transform the way banking technology is delivered, by re-imagining and delivering a new digital customer experience. About the Job

Bank of Kigali recognizes the importance of design in improving user experiences and brand identity. We are seeking a skilled Creative Designer with strong visual and technical abilities to create compelling brand materials and visual design directions. This may involve developing a new design style or drawing inspiration from existing ones. As a vital member of our team, you'll collaborate with various teams to generate innovative ideas for our product advertisements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create sub-brand assets, brand icons, and logos;

  • Develop new or update existing brand materials and documents.

  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing and Design teams to establish the visual direction for new campaigns, and work with other designers to bring these ideas to life;

  • Provide illustrations to Product Designers for use in digital products;

  • Design various branded printed assets for the bank, including physical bank cards, ATM prints, stickers, and other print materials;

  • Collaborate with Motion designer to supply them with the visual elements they need to create animations, including graphics, lines, shapes, and vectors. Your work and the motion designer's work will depend on each other;

  • Work closely with the social media team to brainstorm ideas and create social media designs;

  • Create user guide designs, PDFs, and social media posts.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree or certification in Computer science, Design, a or related discipline

  • A minimum of 4 years of proven full-time working experience as a Creative Designer or Graphic designer is required

  • Great typography skills, understanding color theory, and be familiar with grids systems and layouts.

  • Proficient in using Adobe products, especially Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
