As the ATM Acquiring & Strategic Partnerships Officer at D-Bank, you will play a critical role in managing the bank's ATM acquiring business and establishing strategic partnerships to drive growth and enhance our financial services offerings. Leveraging your expertise in ATM acquiring and partnership development, you will be responsible for optimizing ATM networks, negotiating agreements, and collaborating with key stakeholders to expand our presence in the Banking Sector.

  • Are you experienced in managing ATM and Acquiring Systems, including aspects like merchants, e-commerce, agency services, ATMs, payment gateways, and APIs?

  • Able to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively?

Key Responsibilities

  • ATM and strategic Merchants recruitment – identify opportunity Areas for new merchants’ locations. Acquiring required merchants according to the set Merchant selection criteria & guidelines.

  • Ensure minimum charge backs or zero from ATM and POS merchants.

  • Merchant and Partners Contracting – ensuring that merchant/partners have contracts and ensures up-to-date information in the ATM portals and devices are well set-up and functional.

  • Merchant Set-Up & Training – ensure all merchants are trained & certificated (all products and procedures).

  • Merchant Loyalty Management - Business Development: advice merchants on general business management, relevance, and timing of cost to handle new growth, develop and train the merchants on the merchants’ value proposition based on their area of operation and nature of their business.

  • ATM Performance & Risk Management and Routine Visitation – monitor ATMs vs. targets through: Reports on emerging issues and daily /weekly monthly, quarterly/annual performance report analysis, Customer feedback.

  • Merchant Churn – identification of merchants for Closure, recover bank items & equipment and ensure branding material is removed.

  • Be the primary contact person for acquiring products in your aria of coverage.

  • Escalate and follow up issues affecting trade – real time system monitoring through your laptop/PC and promptly report any issues affecting operations and system downtimes.

  • Maintaining required merchant standards to protect the Bank and Customers against any losses.

  • Prompt reporting as requested.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/ or related field from a recognized institution

  • Knowledge of ATM acquiring systems, payment gateways, and merchant services. Experience in managing ATM networks and merchant relationships is highly beneficial.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships with banks, payment processors, merchants, and other stakeholders in the payment ecosystem.
