As Telco Product Development Officer at D- Bank , you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of telecommunications products and services within D-Bank. Leveraging your expertise in telecommunications and product management, you will be responsible for driving innovation, improving customer communication channels, and ensuring the bank's telecommunications infrastructure meets the highest standards of security and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a telecommunications strategy that aligns with the bank's overall business objectives, ensuring secure and efficient communication solutions.

  • Oversee the development of voice and data services, including internet banking, mobile banking, and telephony services, to meet customer needs.

  • Manage the bank's telecommunications network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.

  • Enhance customer communication channels, such as SMS alerts, email notifications, and customer support hotlines, to improve customer engagement and support.

  • Oversee telecommunications aspects of ATM networks, card processing, and payment gateways to ensure seamless transactions for customers.

  • Implement robust data security measures to protect sensitive customer information and transactions.

  • Ensure that telecommunications services and infrastructure comply with relevant banking regulations and industry standards.

  • Manage relationships with telecommunications vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts and ensure quality services.

  • Develop and maintain telecommunications disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of network disruptions.

  • Monitor and optimize telecommunications costs, including vendor contracts and data usage, to manage expenses effectively.

  • Drive the development of digital banking solutions, including mobile apps and online banking platforms, to enhance customer convenience.

  • Utilize data analytics to gain insights into customer behaviour and preferences, informing product development and marketing strategies.

  • Enhance customer support systems, including call centers and online chat support, to provide efficient and responsive assistance to customers.

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to protect the bank's telecommunications infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Stay informed about emerging telecommunications technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory authorities as required.

  • Collaborate with IT, marketing, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless integration of telecommunications solutions with other banking services.

  • Provide training and guidance to bank staff on the use of telecommunications systems and services.

Experience & Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, IT, or a related field is preferred.

  • Relevant telecommunications certifications are a plus

  • 3-4 years of ****experience in telecommunications, particularly in product development.

  • Basic understanding of banking operations, regulations, and customer needs.

  • Proven experience in managing telecommunications projects.

  • Familiarity with telecom technologies and their integration into banking services.

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with banking teams, Stakeholders and convey technical information.

  • A focus on meeting customer expectations and gathering customer feedback.

  • Telecom experience, especially in product development
