About you and the role

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our People and Culture team. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be supporting the recruitment process by assisting with various administrative tasks and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

What you will you do:

Coordinate Recruitment Activities:

  • Assist in scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate assessments.
  • Liaise with hiring managers and candidates to arrange interview logistics.
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate records.

Pipeline Health Monitoring:

  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to assess the health of the candidate pipeline.
  • Track the progress of candidates through various stages of the recruitment process.
  • Generate and analyze pipeline health metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with the TA/s and hiring managers to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates in the pipeline.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline health to the Talent Acquisition team and management.

Candidate Engagement:

  • Communicate with candidates to provide timely updates on their application status.
  • Respond to candidate inquiries and provide information about Irembo and interview process.
  • Support the creation and distribution of recruitment-related communication materials.

Administrative Support:

  • Prepare and distribute recruitment-related documents such as offer letters.
  • Manage background checks and reference verifications as required.
  • Assist in the coordination of recruitment events and job fairs.

Data Management:

  • Compile and analyze recruitment data for reporting purposes.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc recruitment reports for People and Culture team and management.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline recruitment processes and enhance candidate experience.
  • Participate in People and Culture team meetings to provide insights and contribute to process enhancement discussions.

You will be a good fit if you:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 2 years experience in a coordination or administrative role, preferably within a talent acquisition or HR environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), Microsoft Office Suite or G-suite. An experience using Greenhouse (ATS) is an advantage.
  • A positive attitude and a collaborative mindset.
  • You have the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work efficiently 
  • You are a resourceful problem solver.
  • Adaptability: Technology companies can experience rapid changes and shifts in priorities. The ideal candidate should be flexible and able to adapt to evolving situations.
  • You are resourceful and open to learning and adapting to new ways of doing things
  • You can handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
