Twenty Masters scholarships will be made available by the University of Edinburgh for its qualified part-time distance learning Masters programs.

Award

Each scholarship will pay all of the tuition costs and be renewable for the full length of the study program.

Eligibility

For students starting any of the University's online part-time master's programs in the academic year 2023–2024, scholarships will be available.

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development Assistance Committee's categories of "Least Developed Countries," "Other low income Countries," and "Lower Middle Income Countries" serve as the basis for determining which nations are eligible for this scholarship. Candidates must already have received an offer of admission to the University of Edinburgh and must have accepted or be planning to accept that offer wholeheartedly.

The following will be requested of applicants in their personal statement: Please include the following in your personal statement: (a) the specific aspects of this program that drew you to the University of Edinburgh;(B) How will completing this program successfully enhance your professional and personal development, and how will it enable you to give back to your community, region, or country, according to and (c)?

Criteria

On the basis of academic achievement and the quality of a personal statement, the scholarship will be given.  Those who have never had the chance to study at the masters level before will be given preference.

Applying
Applicants must have submitted an admissions application to the University of Edinburgh in order to access the scholarship application portal.  Please be aware that it may take up to five working days after an application for admission has been submitted for all system checks to be finished and access to be granted.
