Call For Application in International Business At Alibaba Business School at Higher Education Council (HEC)

CALL TO APPLY FOR ADMISSION INTO THE BACHELOR’S PROGRAMME IN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AT THE ALIBABA BUSINESS SCHOOL, HANGZHOU NORMAL UNIVERSITY, PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC CHINA

Through the existing partnership between the Government of Rwanda and the Alibaba Group, applications are invited for admission into the Bachelor in International Business at the Alibaba Business School, Hangzhou Normal University, People’s Republic of China, commencing in the academic year 2024/2025. The details of the call for application are available on: https://abs.hznu.edu.cn/portal/jyjx/gjjy/ewtp-rwanda-program/. Interested candidates should submit of the following application documents:

• International student application form available on (http://abs.hznu.edu.cn/c/2022-11-18/2783192.shtml)
• Digital copy of National ID/Passport
• Digital copy of the High School Certificate
• Digital copy of the High School Transcripts (S4, S5 & S6)
• Recommendation letter from a Teacher or a Mentor
• A short video introducing who you are, why you want to apply for ABS, and what is your experience of shopping online/starting up your own business. (Video requirement: less than 2 minutes with a file size less than 50MB).

Please note:

1. Candidates must have studied the following combinations: MEG, HEG, HEL, LEG, MCE, with minimum score of 54/60 or equivalent in the Rwanda Advanced Level National Examinations of 2023.
2. Applicants should be 18-25 years old.
3. Skillfully able to communicate and write in English (applicants proficient in Chinese are preferred).
4. Have a certain understanding of China, with a keen interest in internet economy and e-commerce.
5. The application documents including all digital copies should be submitted online (no hard copies) to both emails: apply.abs@hznu.edu.cn and HEC MIS using the link: https://mis.hec.gov.rw/system-login.
