In order to aid internationally qualified students who had not previously attended Lincoln University, the International Undergraduate Scholarship (IUGS) was created in 2020.
About Lincoln University
The first historically black college and university in the country to issue degrees, or HBCU, was Lincoln University, which was established in 1854. Lincoln University was founded in 1866 and was originally known as Ashmun Institute in honor of President Abraham Lincoln. Since its inception, Lincoln has drawn students of all races and nationalities from the neighborhood, the country, and the world. Today, a diverse student body with interests in a wide range of career fields is served by our degree programs in the liberal arts and sciences. Lincoln was impressive in the first 100 years.

Goals and Advantages of the International Undergraduate Scholarship at Lincoln University
Before the start of the semester, or the first day of the semester, applications must be submitted.
Value: $3,000
Qualifications for the International Undergraduate Scholarship at Lincoln University
In order to be eligible to apply for the scholarship, a candidate must
- being exempt from receiving any other scholarships, and
- fulfill all conditions for immigration in order to study in New Zealand, and
- To be admitted, you must satisfy all academic and English language criteria.
Lincoln University International Undergraduate Scholarship Interview Schedule and Location
- Based on academic merit, the scholarship will be given.
Selection Panel:
The Vice-Chancellor will give the scholarship upon the selection committee's recommendation, which will include
- Director, International, or nominee
- Academic Administration Committee
- International manager
Tenure:
- The scholarship must be used during the undergraduate program's first semester.
- The scholarship cannot be combined with any other prize, bursary, or scholarship.
- The chosen winner may be obliged to take part in or contribute to any international and promotional activities on campus as determined by Lincoln University during the duration of their study.
- The IUGS scholarship may be carried over to the following semester intake if the scholar delays starting in the intended semester.
Recall that a semester at school is characterized as either Semester 1 (February), Semester 2 (July), or Summer School (November).
Final Date
- 31 January for Semester 1 beginning.
- 30 June is the start date for Semester 2.
- 31 October is the start date for summer school.
