Summary of the Cluster
The Great Lakes Region (GLR) Cluster consists of two regional projects “Cooperation on peace, security and responsible resource governance in the Great Lakes Region of Africa” and “Incorporating local perspectives in the implementation of the Women, Peace & Security in the Great Lakes Region”. The main thematic areas of the cluster are mineral governance as well as (Women), Peace & Security.
The iWPS Project aims to improve conditions for a more systemic implementation of the Women, Peace and Security agenda at the local, national and regional levels in the Great Lakes Region.
