KBL is a private-sector-driven Business Development Services provider focused on entrepreneurship and digital innovation in Rwanda. They support early-stage and growth businesses through incubation, coaching, and acceleration, with a focus on gender-sensitive and inclusive approaches. KBL collaborates with other entrepreneurial organizations to strengthen Rwanda’s innovation ecosystem and promote digital transformation.

Position: Software Development Intern (2 openings)

Project:

• Develop a Business Diagnostic Web Application by converting an existing Excel tool into an interactive, user-friendly web platform integrated into the KBL website.

Internship Responsibilities:

• Build dynamic web forms

• Implement back-end logic and scoring systems

• Manage databases and generate reports

• Design responsive and accessible user interfaces

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Experience with back-end frameworks (Python/Django or PHP/Laravel)

• Basic understanding of databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)

• Ability to translate Excel calculations and logic into code

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team

Education:
