Position: Accountant (1)

Core job responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly VAT, WHT and other government remittance;
• Completing and declare monthly for any expenses (local or imported services) not supported by an EBM
• Advise clients or internal teams on tax implications of financial decisions;
• Assist in responding to tax notices, audits, and inquiries from tax authorities;
• Maintain documentation and organized records supporting lease contracts for RoU and lease liability;
• Ensure all contracts are reviewed to identify embedded leases;
• Update the lease database for modifications, renewals, terminations, and reassessments;
• Calculate present value of lease payments using appropriate discount rates.
• Follow up the compliance of internal control regulation and the completeness of supporting documents;
• Ensure renewal of tax clearance certificates.
• Manage all tax-related communications and correspondences.
• Responsible for filling all accounting and finance documents, correspondences related to Finance department
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and external auditors during audits

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS)
• Proficiency with accounting software: Sage Pastel Evolution, SAP etc.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the field of accounting, taxes and audits
• Advanced interpersonal; communications skills and analytical skills
• Planning and organizing skills
