Job Title: Customer Care cum Accounts Assistant

Job Location: Kigali, Rwanda

Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Reporting To: Finance Manager

Job Purpose:

The Customer Care cum Accounts Assistant will be responsible for managing customer interactions while supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The role requires strong coordination between customer service, billing, receivables, and basic accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Care Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally via phone, email, and walk-in interactions
  • Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and finance teams to resolve customer issues
  • Maintain accurate customer records and follow up on outstanding matters
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality

Accounts & Finance Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue sales invoices using EBM V2 in compliance with Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) regulations
  • Maintain proper documentation for sales, receipts, and customer accounts
  • Assist in accounts receivable follow-ups and customer payment tracking
  • Enter and maintain accounting records in QuickBooks Online
  • Support month-end closing activities and reconciliations
  • Prepare basic financial and operational reports using Microsoft Excel
  • Ensure proper filing and record-keeping for audits and internal reviews

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in customer care and accounting roles
  • Practical working knowledge of EBM V2 is mandatory
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online is required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Previous experience working in Rwanda-based companies is an advantage
