Position Objective

The objective of the present assignment is to allow the Employer to benefit from the services of the Employee with the aim of fulfilling the mission that was assigned to the Company.

Job summery

We are urgently seeking to hire a safety conscious and responsible Driver to join our company.

Key responsibilities

• Starting work on time and leaving on time

• Maintains vehicle in good mechanical order

• Maintains cleanness of the vehicle on a regular basis

• Safeguard tools, spare-parts (tires, tubes, batteries, mirrors, lights bulbs etc.) of the vehicles, and keep it neat and clean.

• Maintains vehicle logbook, accounting for all mileage and fuel consumption/costs.

• Proving skills required in driving

• Handling with care the car/s of the company

• Perform daily operational inspection of vehicle to include tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, water, and interior; perform simple routine maintenance and repairs; report any problems to supervisor.

• Timely reporting of car damage or need for repairs

• Following internal rules and regulations

• Good communication skills (open and transparent communication)

• Complete daily maintenance checks for car

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driving license D

• Prior driving experience of at least 2 years

• Experience in basic vehicle maintenance

• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

• Ability to work under minimum supervision

• Attention to detail

• Ability to follow instructions

• Time-management skills

• Integrity and honesty

• Basic speaking and writing skills

• Ability to speak and understand English and Kinyarwanda.
