Rwanda Interlink Transport Company (RITCO Ltd) is a public-private entity providing sustainable solutions to public transport for both rural and urban populations. we are looking for interested, qualified, committed and competent candidates to apply for the positions of Drivers.
Main Responsibilities.
- Operate a bus safely and efficiently to transport passengers and their luggage to various destinations
- Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness and fuel usage of the vehicle.
- Ensure efficient use of the Bus.
- Conduct basic vehicle check and report mechanical issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws.
- Adhere to the rules and regulations given by the employer.
- Recognize electrical and mechanical faults and report to the employer or technician.
- Perform periodic maintenance on vehicle, such as changing batteries and motor oil appropriate time, as well as refueling the car(s).
- Report any case of accident, injury or damage of vehicles to the supervisor.
- Keep all records, including receipts for vehicle maintenance.
- Dress professionally and in accordance with company's dress code.
Job Requirements.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience as a bus driver.
- Valid driving license category D1.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to read and write at least one official language used in Rwanda.
- High sense of responsibility and good customer care.
- Must be aged between 25 - 45 years old.
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test from RFI.
