Supervisor: Supervisor for Installation, Training and User Support

Purpose

Under supervision of the Head of Customer Support Unit, the EBM Technical Support will deliver EBM technical support to EBM users across the country.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Configuration/installation and training of EBMV2 software users/taxpayers.
• Deliver IT technical support on EBMV2 software to EBM users by Offering online support on different inquiries, backup of EBM database in case of malfunction of computing devices holding EBMV2
• Work hand in hand with EBM software developers on testing the updated system version with new features before deployment.
• Identify EBM hard/software that are not sending data to RRA server and take appropriate and timely actions.
• Facilitate and mobilize EBMV1 users to migrate to EBMV2.
• Prepare work reports to supervisor.

Required Academic Qualification    Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems specialized in Business and Information Technology
2. Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems specialized in Computer Science
3. Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems specialized in Information Technology or Electronic and Telecommunication

COMMUNICATION: 

• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda.
• Knowledge of French is an added advantage. advanced

Strong IT skills and knowledge including hardware, software and networks:

• Experience on MySQL server configuration. advanced
• Having skills on windows operating system, basic networking, computer hardware and structured query language (Sql). medium
