About Us
Stepping Stone Ltd is a newly established packaging manufacturing plant in Rwanda. We are on a journey to become a leading supplier of sustainable packaging solutions. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance and Administration Officer to join our team and play a critical role in building the foundation of our financial and administrative systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and reports.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure efficient use of financial resources.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, and oversee payroll processing.
• Prepare and submit statutory returns, including taxes and other regulatory requirements.
• Support external audits and liaise with financial institutions.
• Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records, including employee files, vendor contracts, and other company documentation.
• Coordinate procurement and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Manage office operations, including supplies, equipment, and facility needs.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Provide strategic insights to support decision-making and business growth.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an added advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in finance and administration roles, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and Rwandan tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Self-driven, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced start-up environment.
