1. Job Title: Financial Controller (Readvertised)
Job summary
To plan, direct and control the financial resources of the company and ensure sound overall financial management and performance in line with the strategic plan, and lead a team of professional staff in line with the regulatory framework and accounting standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and supervise finance department staff under Financial Controller,
- Manage the accounting function, including maintenance of general ledger,
- Implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transaction
- Maintain financial accounting and control system for cash management, accounts payable, account receivable, mobile money, and treasury
- Manage the cash flow (cash position) and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with company policies
- Maintain a proper management of suppliers and ensure that suppliers invoices are fully supported and paid on time
- Maintain a proper management of customers/debtors
- Working closely with both Internal and external auditors
- Oversee all payroll functions to ensure that employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner
- Process and submit statutory deductions to the tax authority on time
- Participate in budget preparation process,
Minimum Required Education & Experience:
- Master's degree in finance or accounting and a professional qualification, such as ACCA, CPA or CFA plus at least 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting role, 3 of which should be at manager level with supervisory role. OR
- Bachelor's Degree (A0) in Finance or Accounting and a relevant professional qualification, such as AC?A, ??? or CFA plus at least 6 years of experience in a Finance or accounting role, 3 of which should be at manager level with supervisory role.
2. Job Title: IT Security Engineer (Readvertised)
Job summary
Responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the electricity utility's IT and OT systems by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security controls, monitoring threats, and leading incident response efforts across enterprise and industrial environments.
Key responsibilities
- Design, install, and configure secure network architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests; remediate identified weaknesses to harden systems and applications
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with 1SO 27001, NERC CIP, and local regulations.
- Monitor SIEM platforms to analyse alerts, investigate anomalies, and coordinate incident response activities.
- Collaborate with SCADA/OT teams to implement network segmentation, secure remote access, and ICSspecific hardening measures.
Minimum Required Education & Experience:
- Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, network computer engineering, networking, communication systems, & IT security and at least 2 years of hands-on IT security experience, preferably within critical-infrastructure or utility environments.
- Practical expertise with firewalls (e.g, Fortinet, Sophos, etc), IDS/IPS, SIEM and endpoint protection platforms.
- Previous experience with one or more of the following firewalls: Checkpoint, CISCO, UTM, Juniper and +
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and cloud security (Azure/AWS).
3. Job Title: Fixed Asset Accountant
Job summary
Responsible for recording the cost of newly acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposal of fixed assets and maintaining updated Assets Register.
Key responsibilities:
- Record fixed asset acquisitions and disposal in the accounting system.
- Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts and capitalise completed projects.
- Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset general ledger.
- Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets.
- Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.
- Perform bank reconciliation.
- Managing Bank accounts to ensure funds are available and movements are reconciled.
- Forecasting and reporting to ensure monthly cash forecasts are updated.
- Manage third party relationships with financial service providers like Banks to review current practices and discuss changes.
Minimum Required Education Background & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (A0) in commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.
- Two (2) years' experience in a Finance or accounting role would be an added advantage.
- At least Level II or intermediate level of accounting professional Qualifications (CPA, ACCA) would an added value
4. Job Title: Treasury Accountant
Job summary
- Responsible for daily cash transactions and updating books of account and for executing, managing the day-to-day treasury transactions and preparing cash flow forecasts.
- Key responsibilities: Perform daily cash transactions and update books of account.
- Perform bank reconciliation.
- Managing Bank accounts to ensure funds are available and movements are reconciled.
- Forecasting and reporting to ensure monthly cash forecasts are updated.
- Manage third party relationships with financial service providers like Banks to review current practices and discuss changes.
- Understand, manage, and supervise all aspects of cash flow.
- Forecast daily cash requirements and execute daily financing decisions.
- Manage all aspects of In-house investment portfolios and determine the Company's goals and risk tolerance.
- Prepare or monitor company's various cash flow forecasts and perform financial modelling.
- Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow report
Minimum Required Education Background & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (A0) in commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.
- Two (2) years' experience in a Finance or accounting role would be an added advantage.
- At least Level II or intermediate level of accounting professional Qualifications (CPA, ACCA) would an added value
