1. Job Title: Complex Facility Management Program Manager

Job responsibilities

  • Provide regular direction and leadership to subordinates;

  • Supervise the implementation of the planned activities of the program;

  • Evaluate the activities of the subordinates and advise them for the improvement;

  • Submit the periodical evaluation reports of the activities of Complex Facilities

  • Guide the development and implementation of policies on construction and rehabilitation of Complex Facilities and coordinate relevant stakeholders;

  • Guide the elaboration, approval and coordination of feasibility and technical studies for the construction, upgrading and refurbishment of Complex Facilities;

  • Guide the assessment of structural conditions of Complex Facilities;

  • Advise the management on policies and strategies to develop the construction projects of the Complex Facilities;

  • Guide the preparation of terms of reference /technical specifications of the studies to be carried out;

  • Oversee the compliance and the validation sessions of deliverables to the contract and their availability to the purpose;

  • Oversee the design and supervision of Complex Facility projects where the consultancy services are not required;

  • Oversee the compliance of deliverables to the contracts and the smooth handover of the works done;

  • Guide the preparation of the terms of reference for the recruitment of the consultant in charge of supervision of Complex facility projects implementation;

  • Guide the supervising firm along the contract lifespan to ensure the quality of the outputs; •Orient requests for technical support to the staff under the Program;

  • Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction projects management, Estate Management and Valuation, Civil Engineering, Architecture, with seven (7) years of relevant working experience including three (3) years at Managerial position and must be an active member of a Professional Body where applicable.
  • Master’s Degree in Construction projects management, Estate Management and Valuation, Civil Engineering, Architecture, City and Regional planning, Urban and Regional Development with Five (5) years of relevant working experience including two (2) years at Managerial position and must be an active member of a Professional Body where applicable.

2. Job Title: Health Infrastructure Development Program Manager

Job responsibilities

Job responsibilities

5. Job Title: Social Housing and IDP Civil Engineering

Job responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise any Social Housing and IDP projects

  • Develop the designs and the BoQs of social infrastructures in the planned villages

  • Upgrade the unplanned grouped settlements by providing the missing basic infrastructures

  • Elaborate the design and costing for any in social housing and IDP project

  • Ensure the identification and availability of the land by the districts for planned settlement projects for social and IDP projects;

7. Job Title: Affordable Housing Mechanical Senior Engineer

Job responsibilities

  • Elaborate the terms of references and technical specifications for technical studies on mechanical services for affordable housing projects;

  • Advise on the standards in force on the design and installation of mechanical services in affordable housing projects;

  • Collaborate with other engineers and architects to assess and verify the mechanical services reports from the consultants to ensure the quality of the final deliverables; -Participate in the validation of deliverables;

  • Contribute in guiding the contractors and the supervisors along the contract lifespan to ensure the quality of deliverables;

  • Participate in the handovers of Affordable Housing construction Projects on the side of the institution and ensure their smooth running;

  • Advise technically the investors on the best practices in line with standards in force on the design and installation of mechanical services in Affordable Housing Projects;

  • Collaborate with Housing Development Senior Engineer and the Senior Architect to assess and verify the mechanical services reports from the investors to ensure the quality of the final deliverables;

  • Participate in the validation sessions of affordable housing projects from investors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with 3 Years of relevant experience

8. Job Title: Advisor

Job responsibilities

  • Ensure a systematic reception and production of the technical information by different divisions and the general directorate;

  • Analyze the technical information including documents, files and reports produced by different divisions and general directorate and evaluate their coherence in line with national policies and institutional mandate;

  • Advise the Director General on technical matters and help to take adequate decisions;

  • Propose a useful review of policies, programs and projects of the institution;

  • Coordinate the staff in the office of Director General.

  • Ensure that the updated documentation reaches the Director General on the activities of the institution on time;

  • Ensure that the assignments from Director General reaches the appropriate destinations on time;

  • Follow up on the feedback to the assignments given by the Director General;

Job responsibilities

  • Ensure the availability of terms of reference and/or technical studies required for the social and affordable housing projects;

  • Engage all stakeholders at each step of the implementation of the social and affordable housing projects;

  • Guide the contractor along the contract lifespan to ensure the quality of the outputs;

  • Ensure the compliance of deliverables to during the implementation of the social and affordable housing projects;

  • Prepare the terms of reference for the recruitment of the consultant in charge of supervision of social and affordable housing projects;

  • Guide the supervising firm along the contract lifespan to ensure the quality of the outputs (reports, instructions, records, advices, actions) by ensuring the compliance of deliverables to the contract;

  • Ensure the smooth contract management both to the client and the consultant.

  • Approve new construction technologies

  • Undertaking design and costing process for any given project

  • Assess and Validate any project requiring the Government support;

  • write periodic reports in accordance to the timelines set by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Master’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Building Construction, Building and construction Technology with 1 Years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Building & Construction Technology,  Building Construction with 3 Years of relevant experience
