Job responsibilities

Coordination

  • Support the Ministry of Health to Coordinate all activities of negotiation with multilateral agencies which include the cooperation with UN agencies, Word bank, European Union, East African Community;

  • Support the Ministry of Health in drafting or renew MoUs with multilateral and bilateral agencies

Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Support the Ministry of Health in planning, monitoring and evaluation of activities with multilateral and bilateral agencies and NGOs;

  • Follow up and produce on regular basis reports on multilateral and bilateral health cooperation;

  • Support the Ministry of Health in organizing meetings with multilateral and bilateral agencies on regular basis;

Bilateral and Multilateral cooperation Assure proper filing of all documents related to health cooperation;

  • Assure proper implementation of SWAp principles with multilateral and bilateral cooperation at central and decentralized levels;

  • Update on regular basis the mapping of multilateral and bilateral health cooperation, as well as NGOs interventions in the Health Sector;

  • Advise on a proper geographic equity of multilateral, bilateral cooperation and civil society interventions;

  • Collect and analyze all multilateral and bilateral cooperation action plans, reports and publications

  • Evaluate the multilateral, bilateral and NGOs interventions and report on it on regular basis

  • Monitor budget execution of projects under multilateral and bilateral health cooperation.

  • Make a follow up of the implementation of the capacity building by multilateral and bilateral health cooperation to the national health system;

  • Assist the Ministry of Health in organizing the HSWG and SWAp Technical Working Groups

  • Advise, investigate and facilitate private investments in the Health Sector

  • Bachelor's Degree in International Relations
