Product Designer

Job Description

The National Bank of Rwanda is seeking to recruit a skilled Product Designer to join its Digital Development team. The selected candidate will play a critical role in defining the user experience, interface design, and overall product strategy to create world-class digital solutions meeting user needs while aligning with the Bank’s business goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth user-research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user behavior, pain points, and expectations.

• Designing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that align with business goals and enhance user experience

• Establish and maintain design consistency through style guides, design systems, ensuring seamless user experience across all digital platforms of the Bank

• Collaborate with engineers, vendors and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into design solutions

• Ensure that all designs meet accessibility standards and industry best practices

• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to push the boundaries of software product design.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.

• Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in product design, UI/UX, or interaction design, or any other similar role.
