Job Title: Program Training Coordinators.

BACKGROUND TO EDUCATIONAL ADVANCEMENT CENTER (EAC)

Educational Advancement Center (EAC) is a globally leading organist ion in education and training with over 25 years of experience. The center operates in different countries including Ghana, Liberia, Kenya and Rwanda and its services focus mainly on training and certifications in English Language proficiency (TOEFl, IELTS,). One of the project that EAC –Rwanda is implementing in Rwanda is to offer training in English language proficiency to teachers, students, lectures, staff and employees from various organization and institutions country wide. It is on this context, the center is recruiting qualified personnel with practical skills and extensive experience in training who will coordinate its activities in different branches in Rwanda.

Program Coordinator Duties/Responsibilities:

• Managing Training at province and District Level
• Coordinating registration process
• Assigning tasks and share training schedules to the facilitators.
• Observing and overseeing Training performance.
• Meeting with trainees and discussing training progress
• Coordination of pre-test exams
• Providing background/ support when escalating complex cases encountered during training
• Developing strong partnerships and relationships with key partners in education
• Inspiring students, Teachers, lectures and staff the importance of language proficiency.
• Attending partners meeting on behalf of the Center.
• Any other relevant assignments as may be directed by Country Director

The candidate shall possess the following:

• Strong interpersonal relation, Good written and strategic communication skills
• Solid understanding of Rwanda education Sector
• Effective training, development, and mentoring
• Planning and coordination skills

• The basics of educational in language proficiency
• A degree of Arts in Educational Leadership, a degree in Educational Administration, Education in Leadership and or in Educational Administration, management, Degree in Information Technology, literature, statistics and other related disciplines
• Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda, understanding of French will be an added advantage
